52-S: Finding a Rhythm, Balance, and Structure to Everyday Life

What would you like to do with 52 weekends?  We'd like to help you meet that goal.  As a 501(c)3 non-profit, our mission is to help families meet all sorts of objectives in leisure, social, and academic areas.  Our aim is to assess factors that block progress in these areas, work with individual families to change these factors, while developing community-based programming to help generalize progress.

Our Approach

As Abraham Maslow said in 1966, "I suppose it is tempting, if the only tool you have is a hammer, to treat everything as if it were a nail."  By combining perspectives between practitioners with different backgrounds, we are uniquely able to help combine social, behavioral, and academic interventions with sensory, coordination, and strength interventions to work towards goals of whole-family ease.  The mission of 52-S is to support families in finding a rhythm, structure, and balance to daily activities- facilitating collaborative participation in and enjoyment of life.  This is achieved by helping families reach their maximum potential through collaborative goal-setting and programming designed to foster growth in areas of leisure, academics, and social participation.
